Get ready for the 2012 graduate recruitment season!

Many organisations start to recruit for their graduate programs, which commence in 2013, as early as January. Don't miss out on sensational opportunities, because you were un-prepared for the applications to open!

So get ahead of the competition by getting organised this summer!

January - February 2012

  • Use the summer break to build your resume with course-related work experience and volunteering.
  • Research preferred roles and employers.
  • Note down application closing dates in your diary or calender.

March 2012

  • Get your resume checked by the Careers and Employment team.
  • Submit online applications for preferred employers.

  • ATTEND THE FOLLOWING ON-CAMPUS EVENTS:

    > Graduate Recruitment Boot Camp on Friday 2 March to get tips and to network directly with employers.
    > Attend application workshops – check regularly on Jobshop for dates and times of workshops.
    > Graduate Careers Fair on Monday 19 March 2012 to meet employers face-to-face and to learn about their graduate programs, vacation programs and other opportunities.
    > Engineering students, make sure you come along to the Graduate Recruitment Engineering Panel being held on Thursday 22 March.

April – May 2012

For those students who were prepared for the application process and have been successful in the first round of recruitment, get ready for the other recruitment processes the employers may ask you to complete:
