Career Fairs

Deakin University has an annual calendar of Career Fairs for students. Career Fairs are a great opportunity to meet and network with recruiters from organisations, government departments and not-for-profit businesses.

Prepare before the fairs by researching the organisations you want to speak to. Develop a brief spiel about yourself and think of questions to ask these prospective employers about their workplaces.

March - Graduate Careers Fair. A graduate program focus, showcasing medium to large organisations and government departments

May - Volunteer Fair. A great range of voluntary opportunities offered by local and multi-national not-for-profit organisations

July - Vacation Work Fair. Organisations come on-campus to promote their summer vacation work programs
