Tips for successful networking

Networking can be less painful… fun even, if you put some energy and effort into learning a few tricks.

Overcome anxiety and fear:

Networking can be a daunting experience for many people. You may feel:

  • afraid you won’t find anyone to talk to
  • nervous you won’t know what to say
  • pressured to make a good first impression
  • pressured to come across as super intelligent/witty/funny

Here are some suggestions to try:
