Deakin's Career Mentoring

Deakin's Career Mentoring has been designed to facilitate contact between you and an experienced media and communications professional. Career Mentoring provides you with the opportunity to gain career insights and guidance for career decisions.

Our Mentors are Alumni (past Deakin students or staff members) who have successfully completed their studies and entered the workforce in a professional capacity. They are keen to help by sharing their experiences and career journeys with you.

Follow these easy steps:

  1. Check your eligibility
    • Penultimate (second to last year) and final year undergraduate students with sixteen or less credits remaining of their studies.
    • All postgraduate students
  2. Decide which version of Career Mentoring is right for you
  3. Search for a Career Mentor
  4. Make first contact with your Mentor
  5. Make Career Mentoring Meaningful, maximise your experience (66 KB)
