There are a range of graduate employers in the government sector who recruit from the Arts disciplines. These include the Department of Defence, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, security agencies, the Victorian Government and many more. These positions are highly sought after and a postgraduate qualification would maximise employment potential. Closing dates for these programs is often the year before the date of commencement, which means students need to be prepared!

Students should also consider looking across a broader spectrum of organisations such as opportunities to work for large international companies that have specific aims and objectives to contribute to the local community, help in re-building infrastructures, facilitate economic growth, educate and influence political and social initiatives.
