Working highlight so far:

Seeing a residence which I had contributed design, and had completed a large component of documentation, come to fruition. Then be able to walk through the home and see the concept, form and detail in reality.

What are the things you enjoy most about your job?

  • The variety of the work,
  • being constantly challenged, and
  • the design interaction with like minded designers.

An area in which you have needed assistance:

On-site experience, interaction with contractors and techtonics.

What do you intend to do in the future?

  • Become a Registered Architect,
  • build my own home.

#1 tip for current students studying your course:

  • Appreciate constructive criticism as it helps refine ideas and thought,
  • get work experience whenever possible,
  • understand that while the course is difficult, it provides the opportunity for a very satisfying career.
