Medical Student
Airforce - Flying Officer

What are the things you enjoy most about your job?

Putting theoretical skills from uni, into practice at the hospital

An area in which you have needed assistance:

Time, there so much work to do and so little time.

What do you intend to do in the future?

I really enjoy the critical care pathway, (anaesthetics, emergency, intensive care)but I'm going to serve in the airforce for a few years (and save the world), then when i come back hopefully I'll have made up my mind.

#1 tip for current students studying your course:

Medicine is a lot of work, it is very demanding of your time and always presents you with challenges. But if you are persistent and get a work-life balance, you'll be fine. Remember, you learn more from working with the front line clinicians and talking to patients than being glued to a book.
