What was the recruitment process, and what do you think made you stand out?

I applied online, had a telephone interview and was then invited to attend an assessment centre. I researched the organisation prior to applying, as I wanted to ensure that I was the right fit for the organisaiton, as well as the TAC being the right fit for me. I could relate to their values and culturally thought I would be a good fit.

Human Resource Officer

Recruitment Activities, HR General Enquiries, HR Administration, Onboarding of New Starters and Facilitating Orientation.

Working highlight so far:

I love working for such a great organisation, the TAC has great values and is a fantastic employer. They recognise motivated employees, and provide a comprehensive list of benefits for their employees. The people are exceptionally friendly and great to work with.

What are the things you most enjoy about your job?

I enjoy engaging with internal and external stakeholders, conducting interviews and reference checks - this appeals to me as I have the opportunity to meet a diverse range of candidates and select the appropriate candidates for the organisation, to help us achieve our organisational targets and TAC 2015.

What is an area that you have needed assistance:

If ever I needed assistance, the Graduate Network meetings were a chance where I could ask any questions in an informal environment, and answers would be happily provided. It also assisted with the important things in life, such as where the best coffee can be found and where's easiest to park!

What do you intend to do in the future?

Continue to work in HR in a more senior position.
