How long have you been working for this organisation?

2 years

Position title and short job description:

I am working in administration, with a high focus on customer service. My role involves answering the telephone, customer enquiries and data entry.

What are the things you enjoy most about your job?

My main highlight would be the wealth of knowledge I have learnt. I would also say the numerous contacts I have made since working here has also been great. This job has been a huge foot in the door for me, and will be of great benefit in my application to the police force.

An area in which you have needed assistance:

Getting to know the law and different procedures - such as advising someone on how to take out an intervention order- has been something I've needed assistance with.

What do you intend to do in the future?

At the moment I am in the process of applying for the Police Academy, to become a sworn Police Officer.

#1 tip for current students studying your course:

ASK QUESTIONS! If you don’t know, don’t be afraid to ask someone who does. You won’t get into trouble for asking a question, but you might get into trouble if you do something wrong because you were too shy to ask.
