Currently working for:
Department of Health
How long have you been working for this organisation?
2 years
Position title and short job description:
Learning Coordinator - Part of the Health SMART project to roll out Clinical Systems across Victoria
What are the things you enjoy most about your job?
Learning the new Clinicals system, and the politics of rolling it out to several Health Agencies
An area in which you have needed assistance:
In the past, I've not enjoyed budgets/finance, so I'll try to get assistance with this.
What do you intend to do in the future?
A big shift! I am training to become a Personal Trainer, and will use my MPET to work with adults as they learn more about their bodies and lifestyle. It's also a good marketing point.
#1 tip for current students studying your course:
Most students studying the MPET are teachers, and I was working as a lecturer at LaTrobe university when I started. So I guess it's about developing as an instructor and learning more about yourself and your strengths/weaknesses. It's also a fantastic opportunity to learn about conducting research and writing papers. I've used the MPET extensively in this area of my professional life.
