Position title and short job description:

Senior Policy and Planning Officer within the Communicable Disease Prevention and Control Unit. I work on pandemic preparedness and communicable disease policy.

Working highlight so far:

I have enjoyed working for the Department of Health, but have also undertaken:

• 3 short term consultancies for the World Health Organization,
• 2 in the Regional Office for the Western Pacific Region in the Philippines and once in the China Office.
• a secondment within the Department of Justice undertaking pandemic preparedness for justice health.
• tutoring in Health Policy for Latrobe University.

What are the things you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy working for the Department of Health as I work in such an interesting field with great opportunities.
