What was the recruitment process?

I applied directly to the firm for a Traineeship in 2009. I undertook a number of interviews and was selected for the position. Upon completion of my Traineeship and Admission to the Supreme Court in 2011, I was offered a full-time position as a first year lawyer.

I think having studied and lived in Geelong during my course gave my firm the confidence that I knew the region and would be keen to stay here and work post my Admission.

Position title and short job description:

Lawyer - working primarily in the areas of Commercial and Wills and Estates Law.

Working highlight so far:

Being able to meet Judges and other members of the profession on a social level.

What are the things you enjoy most about your job?

Helping people deal with their legal matters, whether they are transactional commercial matters or complex cases you are always trying to achieve the best possible results for your clients.
