Teaching student nurses to be broad minded and positive people and to be active and healthy now so they have better quality lives.  I enjoy empowering students to be professional, caring and empathic nurses who deliver excellent nursing care.

An area in which you have needed assistance:

The graduate nurse year was excellent with ongoing and caring support and guidance from the Nurse Educators of Barwon Health.

What do you intend to do in the future?

Prior to my university degree I worked as an Registered Nurse (Division 2) for twenty years. I have really enjoyed my years in Nursing and the diversity of roles I have especially as a RN Division 1. I am currently studying a Diploma in Life Coaching / Business and will specialise in health and wellbeing, parenting, motivation and positive thinking.

#1 tip for current students studying your course:

Think and feel positive. Visualise what you want to achieve and see yourself at the end of the course and on graduation night. It is really powerful to do this. Seek assistance, be inquisitive and read lots.
