Position title and short job description:

Senior Clinical Research Scientist. I am responsible for setting up and coordinating international collaborative clinical research studies between industry and academic institutions.

What are the things you enjoy most about your job?

  • Working in a team environment;
  • establishing long-term working relationships with international research collaborators from varying research areas by using my scientific training and experience;
  • travelling to Europe, US, Asia for frequent training and conferences.

What do you intend to do in the future?

Continue to work in clinical trial management.

A higher degree in nutrition does not necessarily mean you will work in this discipline long-term. The fundamental training is what is important and sets the basis for a far reaching career.
