Position title and short job description:

Assistant Manager - Occupational Therapist. Work Able Consulting is an occupational rehabilitation provider that provides return to work assistance for individuals who have injured themselves at work or in a motor vehicle accident.

Working highlight so far:

Being able to work with a strong team who have various backgrounds and experience.

What are the things you enjoy most about your job?

Being able to assist clients throughout the entire process of returning to work. I generally get to know the clients very well during this time and as such it is satisfying to see these people achieve their goals and get their lives back on track. I also find it interesting being able to visit various types of worksites and getting an understanding of the client's pre-injury role.

An area in which you have needed assistance:

Learning to stay on top of the workload; occupational rehabilitation is a busy line of work!

What do you intend to do in the future?

Continue to develop my skills in occupational therapy and possibly complete some further education.
