Position title and short job description:

Managing Director. I own and run a franchise swim school. I have 70+ staff and manage everything from financial, human resources, operations and performance management.

Working highlight so far:

Owning my own learn to swim facility and presenting at an international convention on swimming teaching.

What are the things you enjoy most about your job?

The variety in the roles I play and seeing the people I work with develop.

An area in which you have needed assistance:

Time management and organisational skills.

What do you intend to do in the future?

I intend to stay in this industry as it is a very rewarding place to be. Not many jobs allow you to have such a profound impact in the lives of small children.

#1 tip for current students studying your course:

Never let anyone tell you that sport is not a real career. Follow your dreams and do what you love.
