Australian Red Cross responds to requests from the International Committee of the Red Cross and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies for personnel for overseas assignments in the following categories:

Red-R Australian coordinates engineers to respond to emergencies in developing countries usually for minimum of 3 months. You must be available at short notice.  More information is available on their website.
