Telephone or visit Student Life reception on your campus to make an appointment for career counselling. Telephone appointments can be conducted during working hours if you cannot attend an appointment on campus.
Our staff members are professionals who specialise in the needs of the university community. All staff observe strict privacy rules according to ‘The Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 and the Health Records Act 2001. The personal information collected from students and staff is for the provision of services and related statistical purposes and is securely stored. All services are confidential. Sometimes it is necessary to discuss your situation with other Division of Student Life staff. In these circumstances we will ask you to provide written permission for us to do this. Confidentiality is only breached when there is serious and imminent risk of harm to you or another person. The staff member will usually discuss this with you first. If you have any concerns or additional questions regarding privacy or confidentiality please raise them with the staff member at the beginning of the appointment.
