Your privacy

The University manages personal information and health information in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2000 (Vic.) and the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic.)

The information provided on the Disability Registration Form and all attached supporting documentation will be used by the University to process your registration, to determine and manage the provision of services to you, and enable the collation, from the University's Student Management System, of statistical data required by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations in return for related funding. The University’s information privacy policy is available from the Disability Resource Centre (DRC) or online on The Guide.

In processing your registration, it may be necessary to discuss information provided to us with University staff outside the DRC or with an agency external to the university. If you do not wish such discussions to take place then in some cases it may not be possible to implement a service.
