Deakin Lakehouse
The Lakehouse is a privately owned and operated restaurant and function room, situated beside the Chapel on the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus.
Nestled in beautiful native parkland, it boasts fabulous split level decks and a dance floor, which make it perfect for that special event. The Lakehouse has stunning views across the lake with its birdlife and natural fauna, and is linked by the quaint bridge to the historic sandstone Chapel (also managed by Lakehouse).
Weddings, special occasion parties, dinner parties and Christmas functions are our specialty. To enquire about booking a function please email or phone us and we can provide you with a list of options to suit your event.
We operate daily as a licensed restaurant Monday - Friday, from 10 am - 3 pm, and are open to the public as well as University staff and students. If you would like a copy of our seasonal menu or daily specials please give us a call.
We also provide catering to Departments and Faculties on the Geelong Campus at Waurn Ponds
