The Human Resource Division's primary role is to support the achievement of Deakin's goals by ensuring that relevant and innovative people policies, practices and systems are in place so that Deakin can attract, retain and develop outstanding staff. Human Resources provide a wide range of services to managers and staff (and in some cases students) in areas such as recruitment, payroll, staff development, workplace relations, workforce planning and occupational health and safety.
In addition to the Director's Office, the Division is made up of 4 groups:
Human Resources Division pioneered the Deakin Internship Scheme and is committed to ensuring the scheme continues to grow and assist students in their career development.
