The Marketing Division is responsible for managing the University's marketing function - identifying the needs and characteristics of target markets, undertaking marketing planning, providing marketing advice on course and University development, and optimising the University's recruitment, retention and graduate outcomes. The Division plays a primary role in managing communication and relationships with prospective and current students, Deakin staff, graduates and the community. It also manages the University's major advertising and promotional activities, and publishes course information and related materials.
Internships in the Marketing Division could be in any of the key areas:
Interns will be involved in a range of tasks/projects during their internship and are also allocated a dedicated supervisor who will assist and provide guidance through all aspects of the internship. Students are expected to have a strong interest in gaining real experience to further their Deakin experience.
