Exchange program destinations
Deakin University has formal exchange agreements with a number of universities around the world. Students are strongly advised to find out as much as they can about the university and country where they would like to go on exchange before submitting an application.
Please find the University specific UMAP and Endeavour scholarships below for trimester 2, 2014. Please be aware that these scholarships are available for undergraduate's only.
Category A & B:
- a 'Category A University' is a university which has limited exchange places
- a 'Category B University' is a university which is not in the Category A list
- students must not choose more than one 'Category A University'
- students who choose a 'Category A University' then must also select a 'Category B University' as another preference
- students that get into Category A Universities will receive a $500 travel grant
- students that get into Category B Universities will receive a $1000 travel grant
- selecting a second preference is not required for students that select a 'Category B University' as a first preference. Choosing another preference is optional.

Applications for overseas study in Trimester 1, 2014 are now closed. To go on exchange during Trimester 2, 2014 you need to complete the Faculty Study Plan by the 21 October 2013 deadline and submit your completed application by the Exchange Application deadline which is 16 December 2013.
