Short-term study programs

Some host universities offer short term study programs for students who want to study overseas for a short period of time (3-8 weeks).  The programs are open to all Deakin students, including off-campus, international and postgraduate students. Many of these programs are held during Deakin trimester breaks, and can be taken in addition to your regular study program at Deakin.

Short-term study programs are an excellent opportunity if:

• You are at the end of your degree and can't fit in a full-trimester Exchange.
• You wish to go overseas for a shorter period of time (3-8 weeks).
• You can't afford to go overseas for a full trimester.
• You are a postgraduate student who can only study overseas for a limited period of time.
• You want to escape to a warmer climate during the winter chill in Australia or want to experience a snowy northern hemisphere winter

You can participate in as many Summer and Winter programs as you like throughout your degree, so there is nothing stopping you from going to experience the Norwegian summer one year and the Korean winter the next!
