The Vice-Chancellor's Prize is awarded to the students submitting the top two honours theses in each Faculty, including a creative production and exegesis honours work. The work may be submitted as part of any assessment for a program of study, or may be prepared specifically for the prize.
Each prize consists of $1000 and a commemorative plaque. Each award will be presented at one of the annual graduation ceremonies and an appropriate endorsement made on the successful student's academic record.
Applications will be invited by an announcement placed on the Web, on University noticeboards and published in the Handbooks and student newspapers.
An application for the prize using the relevant application form (71 KB) must be received in the applicant's particular Faculty Pro Vice-Chancellor's office by close of applications.
APPLICATIONS EXTENDED: For students who completed their course in Trimester 3, 2011 or Trimester 1 or 2, 2012: applications will close at noon on Monday, 14 January 2013.

Students completing their course in Trimester 3, 2012 will be invited to apply in the 2013/14 round of student prizes and awards.
