Change of personal details

It is the responsibility of the student, at the beginning of each trimester, to ensure their enrolment, personal and exam location details are up-to-date, and to inform the University of any changes before the specified deadlines.

A change in address details does not automatically change an exam location.

On-campus

A letter will be sent out from Division of Student Administration explaining the process and requirements for exam clashes. Students will be required to sit their exams in the Clash Room where they will be under supervision for the entire day, sitting one exam in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Please note that students will be required to remain under supervision during their lunch break. If a letter has not been received at least 4 weeks prior to the exam period stating that there is a clash, please contact the Assessments Office via email assess-on@deakin.edu.au to ensure arrangements are made to sit under clash conditions.

Off-campus

A letter will be forwarded to off-campus candidates with a clash exam. Off-campus candidates will also receive a copy of a Deakin University Student Declaration Form. Students must take the Student Declaration Form to their relevant clash exam. The form must be completed and signed in the presence of the supervisor (the supervisor will witness the form and return it to the University with the completed exam paper). Any queries relating to clash sessions at off-campus locations should be directed to ext-exam@deakin.edu.au.
