Key to results codes for years prior to 1993

Originally founded in 1975, Deakin University has had important links with many other tertiary educational institutions throughout Victoria. Subsequent amalgamations have meant that the historical records of results for students who attended these institutions are currently held by Deakin University and are available on request as a Deakin University Academic Transcript.

Other institutions which in the past were affiliated with Deakin University are:

  • Warrnambool Institute of Advanced Education
  • Gordon Institute of Technology
  • State College of Victoria / Victoria College: Burwood, Prahran, Rusden, Toorak.

Prior to 1993 different grading schema were used at various institutions. While some appeared similar to the current grading schema, grade conversions do not necessarily correspond to the current grading schema. This document outlines grade codes for institutions and courses prior to 1993.
