Your invoice

How to view your invoice

Log in to StudentConnect and go to the 'view invoice' link under the 'fees and payments' heading on the sidebar menu.

A PDF version of the invoice can be viewed, printed and saved for your own records by clicking on the 'get PDF version' button located at the bottom of your invoice.

As paper invoices are not available, it's your responsibility to ensure your financial obligations to the University are met by the relevant invoice due dates.

We recommend you view your invoice after each study period and after any changes to your enrolment, to ensure your enrolment is accurate.

* Commonwealth supported students

If you are a Commonwealth supported student with an active HECS-HELP form and you chose to defer all of your tuition fees (student contribution) to your HELP debt, your fees will not show as owing on your invoice. This does not mean you do not owe any fees or they have not been assessed correctly. It means all of your tuition fees are being deferred to your HELP debt and therefore you are not required to make any payments to Deakin towards your tuition fees.

If you are a Commonwealth supported student with an active SA-HELP form to defer your Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) to your HELP debt, the SSAF will NOT show as owing on your invoice.

If you nominated to pay all or part of your tuition fees upfront, your tuition fees will show as owing. This means you are responsible for paying your tuition fees by the invoice due date. If you provided your Tax File Number (TFN) on your Commonwealth Assistance Form (eCAF) any amount of tuition fee outstanding as at the census date will be deferred to your HELP debt. If you did not provide your TFN, the total amount of fees due must be paid by the invoice due date. If you did not complete an SA-HELP form, your SSAF will show as owing.

You can see if your TFN  has been supplied by looking at the top section of your invoice, in the 'Tax File Number Supplied' section. Yes means you have supplied your TFN, No means you have not supplied your TFN.
