Graduation fee
$165.00 - Graduation fee.
This fee is GST inclusive and covers the hire of academic regalia, two guest tickets and light refreshments after the ceremony.
Payment should be made at the time of lodging the online Application to Graduate by credit card via StudentConnect.
If you have your own Deakin regalia (or part thereof) relevant to the award from which you are graduating please advise the Graduations Office and your graduation fee will be reduced by the relevant amount.
Refund for ceremonies
If you are unable to attend your graduation ceremony, you should contact the Graduations Office immediately. Refunds can be arranged depending on the timing of notice.

Guest tickets
Two guest tickets and the ticket for the graduate are included with the Graduation fee. Additional guest tickets can be purchased for ceremonies subject to availability. Details of how to purchase additional guest tickets will be included in the ceremony information pack sent to all eligible graduates approximately 4-6 weeks prior to their ceremony date.
Additional guest ticket prices are listed below. Please note that these are not refundable.
2013 ceremonies - $27.50
Deakin University reserves the right to limit the number of additional guest tickets available per graduand.
Subject to availability additional guest tickets may also be purchased immediately prior to the ceremony at the venue. We request that payment be made by EFTPOS.

The University does not accept American Express or Diners Club Credit Cards. Payment should be made at the time of request by credit card.

If you are unable to pay by credit card at the time of ordering please send a cheque or money order made payable to Deakin University to: Graduations Office, Deakin University, Locked Bag 20000, GEELONG VIC 3220 Australia. Please ensure that you include your Student ID number so your payment can be identified.

DO NOT send cheques or money orders without first pre-ordering your tickets.

If payment is not received by the due date, the University reserves the right to re-allocate tickets.

Pre-purchased tickets must be collected from the Box Office at each location upon arrival for the ceremony.
