Graduation Ceremonies Information Guide (3 MB)
Graduands are asked to arrive at the venue approximately 2 hours before the ceremony to allow sufficient time to register, robe and arrange photographs if required. Staff will be available to issue you with the appropriate regalia and assist you with robing.
Generally, guests are asked to remain clear of the registration and robing areas, arrangements should be made to meet guests elsewhere in the venue. They may collect extra guest tickets at the Box Office if these have been pre-booked.
Where possible please phone 03 9244 6333 to inform us if you believe you may not be at the venue 30 minutes before your ceremony start time.
Registration will close 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony. If you arrive after this time you will not be permitted to take part in the ceremony, however you will be permitted to be robed for photography purposes only.
Purchasing tickets on the ceremony day
Subject to availability, additional guest tickets may also be purchased by at the Box Office located at Cost Hall immediately prior to the ceremony.
All academic dress must be returned to the registration area and have your name checked off against the gown return listing within one hour of the completion of the graduation ceremony. Graduates who do not return their regalia after the ceremony will be invoiced for the full cost.
