Dr (Aunty) Mary Atkinson scholarships

Two scholarships are awarded each year to the top Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student commencing nursing and education at Deakin.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:

• a commencing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student in a Commonwealth supported place (CSP)

Selection criteria

Top Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student admitted to an undergraduate nursing course or an undergraduate education course.

Value

Payment of all student contributions

Duration

Normal duration of the course subject to satisfactory performance

Number per year

Two per year: one for Nursing and one for Education
