The Christopher Morton Memorial Scholarship

The Christopher Morton Memorial Scholarship aims to provide an opportunity for a second year student, to study a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree at Deakin University's Geelong Campus at Waurn Ponds.

Cash payment up to $2,000 for one year.

Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship you must be:

• an Australian citizen or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa
• a second year student enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) at Deakin University's Geelong Campus at Waurn Ponds in a Commonwealth Supported Place
• either a recipient of a Centrelink benefit or can demonstrate that you have a personal or family taxable income under the HECS repayment threshold

Selection criteria

Preference will be given to students enrolled in the civil stream of the Bachelor of Engineering degree.

Applications for 2013 are now open and close 25 February 2013.
