Department of Justice Scholarships

DOJ is offering the following scholarships, for the 2011-12 academic years, to students from refugee backgrounds undertaking Justice related tertiary study:

  • a major scholarship ($10,000 pa for 2 years) to one successful student and
  • minor scholarships ($5,000 pa for 2 years) each, to a further three successful students

The scholarships aim to assist students gain tertiary qualifications and enhance their employment opportunities, particularly within Justice related fields. The scholarships are open to eligible students undertaking Justice related courses in all relevant Victorian tertiary institutions.

As outlined in this Guidelines (80 KB), DOJ will provide 2-year scholarships to at least four students to support their studies during the academic years 2011 and 2012.
