Deakin University Participation Partnership Program Financial Study Support Scholarship (DUPPP) for continuing students

If you are currently studying an undergraduate degree in your second, third, fourth or fifth year at Deakin University, please consider applying for a Deakin University Participation and Partnership Program Financial Study Support Scholarship (DUPPP). With this financial assistance you can focus on achieving academic success in your 2013 studies.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australian citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa
  • enrolled full time in an undergraduate bachelor degree in a Commonwealth supported place in 2013 and not in your first year
  • not hold another bachelor degree
  • not hold another scholarship
  • be in receipt of a Centrelink benefit or can demonstrate that you have a personal or family taxable income below the HECS repayment threshold depending on independence status

Your application will be assessed and ranked based on the information you provide in your application and supporting documentation.

Value

Up to $1250 to assist with the costs associated with studying.

Applications for Trimester 1 2013 are now closed.

Supporting documentation

As part of the application process you will also be required to provide supporting documentation.  You should upload your supporting documentation as part of the online application process.

The supporting documentation required includes evidence of:

  • your financial hardship
  • any medical condition
  • any other disadvantage you are experiencing
  • confirmation of any statement you have provided in your online application
