Deakin Margery Ramsay Scholarship

This scholarship is open to students from rural and regional areas of Victoria commencing undergraduate studies at Deakin’s Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus, Geelong Waterfront Campus or Warrnambool Campus.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:

• an Australian citizen or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa
• new (enrolled for the first time in 2012) student enrolled full time in an undergraduate course at the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus, Geelong Waterfront Campus or Warrnambool Campus in a Commonwealth supported place
• from a rural or regional area of Victoria
• able to demonstrate you are in receipt of a means-tested Centrelink benefit or have a personal or family taxable income below the HECS repayment threshold, depending on independence status.

Selection Criteria

Your application will be assessed and ranked based on the information you provide in your application and supporting documentation.
