Trimester 3 for Current Postgraduate Students

Deakin University's new trimester system will ensure that your study experience continues with maximum flexibility and choice, allowing you to easily fit study around your work and lifestyle commitments.

With the addition of a third trimester, you have the option to fast-track your study and achieve your dreams sooner.

As a current student, you will have the freedom to study the traditional four units in Trimester 1 and 2, or explore a range of new options*, such as:

• graduating sooner by completing a 12-unit masters degree in one calendar year by studying three trimesters per year
• option to use the Trimester 3 to catch up on units disrupted by personal commitments or other events
• choice of commencing a course in any Trimester
• increased flexibility, a tighter curriculum and new choices for students.

Trimester 3 commences on 10 November 2008 and will finish on 6 February 2009.
