The aim of the Deakin Internship Scheme is to provide final year Deakin students with the opportunity to complete an internship within one of Deakin's administrative divisions, providing practical experience to help supplement their degree.

Work Integrated Learning at Deakin

Deakin's Work integrated learning (WIL) programs give students the opportunity to undertake a discipline specific work placement as part of their degree. WIL programs take many shapes and forms and are known by a range of names such as internships, practicum placements, experiential learning, industry-based learning and professional practice. WIL placements are linked to academic units that are credited towards the course.
