Synchronising a DSO (D2L) Calendar with iCal (MAC)

  1. Login to D2L and open the Calendar by either clicking Calendar link icon in the top NavBar or Calendar icon  in the Events Widget.
  2. From the action menu of the desired calendar click on "Subscribe".

  3. A new window will pop-up. Right-click/control-click on the link and select "Copy Link Location".

  4. Open iCal and from the menu "Calendar" select "Subscribe...".

  5. Paste the URL in to the "Calendar URL:" field.

  6. Configure the Calendar settings.

    (Name, Color, Location, Remove, Auto-refresh rate)

    The Calendar will update according to the "Auto-refresh" rate.
  7. To manually refresh the Calendar click on "Refresh" or "Refresh All" in the "Calendar" menu.

  8. To change Calendar settings (Figure.5), click on "Calendars", right-click/control-click the relevant Calendar and select "Get Info".
