Learning how to study at university can take some time, especially if you've come straight from school or are returning to study after a break. For a successful start to uni, it's really important that you get advice from your teachers about how to study, write assessment pieces and sit exams at tertiary level.
You can also ask for help from a Language and Learning Adviser either through an individual consultation or in one of the workshops run throughout the trimester. Advisers can help with:
Library
The Library will form an integral part of your university experience, and the faster you become familiar with your campus Library, the more confident you'll be in researching for your assignments.
Online tutorials and face-to-face workshops are available to help you with assignments and research. You can also get assistance from helpful Library staff in person, by phone, via email or online.
