August 31

Last day for Domestic students to withdraw from semester 2 units or to
intermit or discontinue your course without HECS-HELP/FEE-HELP liability and without reference on academic record:
Today is the last day you can withdraw from units or intermit or discontinue your course without being charged a fee and the unit(s) will not show as being withdrawn on your academic transcript. Fees apply after this date, please refer to the fees page and access the Withdrawal Dates and academic penalties for details.

Last day for HECS-HELP and FEE-HELP students to make full or partial up-front payments for semester 2 :
If you want to pay a percentage or ALL of your fees up front, today is the last day payments will be accepted at the University for Semester 2. For details on methods of payment, please go to the fees page and access the online invoices link.

Last day for domestic tuition fee-paying students to apply for FEE-HELP or pay fees up-front for semester 2:
If you are a domestic tuition fee-paying student and you would like to apply for a loan and defer the payment of your fees, you are required to submit an eCAF (electronic Commonwealth Assistance Form). The form can be accessed via StudentConnect and selecting eCAF from the side menu. You must complete the eCAF and in section 11 tick 'yes' for the FEE-HELP loan. The debt is deferred to the Government and this is known as a ‘HECS’ debt. Future payments to reduce this debt are made directly to the Australian Taxation Office.
Note: If you are an undergraduate student, a 20% loan fee applies to this loan.

Last day for Commonwealth supported students to submit eCAF (electronic Commonwealth Assistance Form) and/or provide their tax file number (TFN):
If you are in a Commonwealth Supported Place you must complete an eCAF and supply your TFN. The form can be accessed via StudentConnect and selecting eCAF from the side menu. Section 11 of the eCAF refers to the payment of your student contribution (fees). Please indicate if you would like to pay the full amount up front or if you would like to apply for a HECS-HELP loan to cover ALL or PART of your student contribution. If you choose the HECS-HELP loan option, the amount not paid will defer to the Government and this is known as a ‘HECS’ debt. Future payments to reduce this debt are made directly to the Australian Taxation Office.

Last day for international students to pay 1st installment of at least 50% of their semester 2 course tuition fees:
A payment totaling 50% of your fees is due today and the remaining 50% is due on the 30 September. For details on methods of payment, please go to the fees page and access the Online invoices link.
Note: You risk termination of your enrolment if at least 50% of your fees are not paid by 31 August.
