Orientation: Make a great start at Deakin!

What's on during Orientation?

Knowing what to attend during Orientation is easy at Deakin! All new students receive a course itinerary, which outlines all the activities you need to attend. All you have to do is follow your itinerary.

Host Program
Orientation officially starts with the Host Program, which is run by senior Deakin students and is a great opportunity to make new friends, become familiar with the campus and ask senior students questions about life at Deakin.

Faculty sessions
All throughout Orientation, you will have sessions specific to your course, School and/or Faculty. These Faculty sessions not only help you to get a better understanding of your what’s ahead of you academically, but are also a great opportunity to meet and make friends with people that you’ll be studying alongside for the next few years.
