About Corporate Governance, Risk and Compliance Services

Corporate Governance, Risk and Compliance Services is part of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Group portfolio. We manage the structures and processes associated with governance of the University to ensure good planning, decision making and appropriate management of risk and accountability.

The Unit has approximately 20 staff members across Deakin's four campuses and integrates the key areas of governance and risk management. Led by the Director, Ms Karyn Hughes, Corporate Governance, Risk and Compliance Services has responsibility for a number of activities including:

• Policy and corporate information management
• Risk management and Compliance program, inclusive of business continuity and insurance
• Records and archives management
• Production of the University's Annual Report
