About the Unit

Corporate Governance, Risk and Compliance Services (CGRCS) manages the structures and processes associated with governance of the University to ensure good planning, decision making and appropriate management of risk and accountability.

Working in partnership with all areas of the University, CGRCS has responsibility for a number of activities including:

  • Policy and corporate information management
  • Risk and compliance management, inclusding assurance, business continuity and insurance
  • Records and archives management
  • Production of the Annual Report

The Unit has approximately 20 staff members across Deakin's four campuses. Our aim is to help provide information and support, and link with the CFO Group's business development strategy.
