Malcolm is the Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) in the Faculty of Science andTechnology at Deakin University. He is also an Associate Professor within the School of Information Technology. Malcolm has just on 25 years experience working in the Higher Education sector first in the College of Advanced Education environment and then within Universities.Malcolm’s teaching expertise resides in the design and development ofinteractive multimedia and he is the program leader for the Bachelor of Information Technology (Interactive Media) course. In 2010 Malcolm was awarded an ALTC Citation for outstanding contributions to student learning. Malcolm has been an Associate Dean within the Faculty since 2003 and is the convener of the Associate Deans (Teaching and Learning) across Deakin. Apart from his faculty duties, he is currently chair of the Joint Faculty D2L Transition group and a member of the University Teaching and Learning Committee. |
