Ms Belinda Townsend

Belinda Townsend commenced her appointment from 1 July 2010 following the resignation from the role of postgraduate student representative of Mr Jey Thevaraj who had previously held the role.
Ms Townsend is a graduate of Deakin having completed her Bachelor Applied Science (Health Science) and Bachelor of Arts in 2008 and Honours in Politics in 2009. Her experiences have included undertaking voluntary work in Nepal and Kenya working in health promotion, community development and advocacy roles. Ms Townsend is undertaking her PhD studies on a full time basis in the field of Politics within the Faculty of Arts and Education.
Mr Owen Wrangle

Owen Wrangle is an Arts/Commerce (Politics/Economics) student and General Secretary of the Deakin University Student Association. Owen has a keen interest in public policy, and is passionate about ensuring that Deakin students have a voice and play a key part in deciding the direction the University takes.
