At the close of nominations at 5 pm 26 October 2012, one nomination had been received for the election of a university-wide Professor. As a result of the election to membership of the Academic Board, the following candidate in the Professor category has been duly elected:
- Professor Lynn Batten with a term of office commencing 1 January 2013 and expires on
31 December 2014
