At the close of nominations at 5.00 pm on 21 October 2008, only one nomination had been received for the election of an undergraduate student to membership of the Faculty of Arts and Education Board.
As a number of nominations did not exceed the single available vacancy, Heidi Sandstrom was elected to serve a term of office commencing 1 January 2009 and ending 31 December 2009.
Another call for nominations will be held at a later date to fill the remaining vacant positions in other membership categories.
