The WA Office of Multicultural Interests (OMI) wants to find out about the involvement of people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) backgrounds in the ARTS in WA. By CaLD we mean people whose ancestry comes from outside Australia.

OMI has engaged Deakin University to conduct this study. A full story about the research project can be found in the July edition of the Multicultural Western Australia newsletter.

By the Arts we mean dance, visual arts, multimedia arts, singing, playing music, theatre, performance art, writing and film-making. We want to talk to people who do these things on their own, or with others. We want to hear from people who do it for fun, pleasure, financial reward or any other reason.
