Networked Sensing and Control (NSC)

Networked Sensing and Control at the School of Engineering (a research area part of the Advanced Design and Manufacturing group) engaged in leading edge research activities in the area of wireless networking integrated with mobile platforms in addition to systems theoretic solutions pertaining to bio-medical systems. A heavily focused and integrated group of researchers interactively concentrate on well defined research questions that are of practical and commercial interest.

Our mission is to make a fundamental contributions to certain realistic and prominent problems in the underlying area. Our major industry and government research partners include, National Information and Communication Technologies Australia (NICTA), AutoCRC, DSTO, CSIRO and Barwon Health.

With funding from the Australian Research Council, DSTO, NICTA and some other industry partners, NSC has established an state of the art high speed wireless networking and mobile robotics laboratory in the school of Engineering.
