Celebration - 100 Years of International Women's Day
Tuesday 8 March 2011 marked the 100th Anniversary of International Women’s Day. 150 Deakin University staff and students attended functions across four campuses to celebrate Deakin’s achievements in gender equity and reflect on its commitment to providing a gender equitable work and study environment. Activities on the day included opening addresses by senior staff members, key note presentations and networking opportunities.
The Equity and Diversity Unit would like to acknowledge and thank the following people for their efforts in making the event a success:
